Karen Fehl attended the Australasian Road Safety Conference in Christchurch this week, where the “Decepta” – a vehicle built in a lab by Waka Kotahi for the promotion of the vehicle safety rating system as part of the road safety campaign – is on display. Karen says, “while fun to sit in, in real life it makes a confronting prop. The car has featured in a number of television ads and there have been several poignant points made at this conference. The campaign provides plenty to take away and put into practice.”
