Joining Resolve Group’s Wellington office in 2024, Aimee is experienced in leading legal, procurement, commercial, sustainability, risk, and property portfolios. She is a barrister and solicitor of the New Zealand High Court and has a current practicing certificate in law. Aimee also holds qualifications in business management and procurement.
Aimee’s career has seen her work in the public and private sectors on major infrastructure projects of regional and national significance. She brings considerable procurement knowledge and expertise, particularly in running strategic, end-to-end processes that deliver best-for-project outcomes.
Experienced in stakeholder management, Aimee prides herself in her ability to form authentic and collaborative professional relationships underpinned by integrity and trust. She takes the time to understand what motivates her stakeholders and tailors her approach accordingly.
During her time at Wellington Water, Aimee developed a capital works contractor panel. The model for implementing the panel (developed by Aimee) was novel, industry-leading and the catalyst for successful change from a transactional to trust-based relationship between Wellington Water and its contractors.
In her role as Programme Procurement Manager on KiwiRail’s Inter-Island Resilient Connection Programme, Aimee led the development of procurement strategies and plans, was involved in negotiation strategy and provided probity and risk-management advice. Of note, was Aimee’s success at establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with challenging stakeholder groups with an interest in the programme.
During her time as Procurement Manager for Downer, Aimee worked on the Downtown Infrastructure Development Programme and the City Rail Link, Waitematā (Britomart) Station Project. She advised on contractual and commercial risk, led negotiations and drafted bespoke subcontract terms for critical construction services. Developing the procurement and tender processes to optimise commercial outcomes, Aimee’s work led to an initiative to engage Māori, and Pacific suppliers through strategic procurement processes. This experience was invaluable when Aimee worked on an advisory assignment for Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori /Māori Language Commission.
Aimee held the role of Legal Counsel and Property Manager for Wellington Electricity, where she led the legal, property, procurement, risk, sustainability and fleet functions of the business. Having sole responsibility for developing the organisation’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, charter and targets, Aimee aligned these to the United Nations Sustainable Development Group and New Zealand’s Emissions Reduction Targets. She chaired the company ESG Executive Steering Committee and ESG Working Group, reporting sustainability progress and outcomes to the Board of Directors.
A unique project Aimee worked on for the University of Auckland was project managing the removal, and offshore disposal, of two radioactive sources, housed separately, in Auckland’s city centre. Aimee received the University of Auckland Vice-Chancellor’s Staff Recognition Award for her significant contribution leading this work.

Aimee is Chair of the Wellington Rugby Football Union Junior Advisory Board and is a Trustee of her local community sports hub. Evidenced by her previous involvement as a member of the Infrastructure Collective Committee, and as the Regional Hub Coordinator at Girl Guiding New Zealand, Aimee has a keen interest in giving back to her community by supporting and developing young leaders.
In her spare time Aimee is always learning something new. She has a keen interest in health and wellness and completed a Diploma in Functional Nutrition in 2024. She enjoys attending live sports events with her fiancé and together they attend the annual mid-winter Christmas festival in Greytown.
