The Challenge:

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) manages an estate of approximately 81,000 ha and 5,000 buildings, with an infrastructure replacement value of approximately $2.8 billion. NZDF estates and infrastructure at camps and bases around New Zealand needed renewal.

The Outcome:

A Professional Services Alliance was established with EY and Beca to help deliver a $2.1 billion estate regeneration programme of 104 projects over five years (with options to extend by up to six years), including replacing buildings, upgrading utilities, new barracks, new headquarter buildings, workshops upgrades and new logistics facilities.

Our Involvement:

Resolve Group supported NZDF with the procurement and establishment of the alliance, from market sounding and the development of procurement documentation, through to undertaking process management and leading the tender evaluation team through a 3-stage process.
